Strategic Planning
Strategic Planning meetings are held every first Saturday (unless otherwise notified).

Please turn in your email addresses to the church office. This will provide another avenue to get important information to you in a timely manner. Prayer and Bible Study
Prayer and Bible Study - Tuesday: 6:00pm and Wednesday: 11:30am.



Computer Classes
Computer classes are held each Tuesday and Saturday at noon. Schedule and sign up information are available in the church office. The Tuesday class is full so please sign up for the Saturday class ASAP. For more information contact Trustee Darryck Moore or Bro. Richard Slaughter.

Evangelism Ministry
Rev. Linda Grissom is leading the Evangelism Ministry and invites those interested in serving to contact her.

Sermon CDs Available
Sermon CDs are now available after morning worship. CDs are $7.00 each and are available at the Tape Room.

Bible Study Classes
Bible Study schedule is as follows:
TUESDAY: Prayer, 6:00pm to 6:30pm and Bible Study, 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
WEDNESDAY: Prayer, 11:30am to Noon and Bible Study, Noon to 1:00pm.
All members are encouraged to attend one or the other of these weekly classes. See the Church Calendar for more details.

Mentoring/Tutoring Program
Metropolitan Baptist Church members interested in participating in the mentoring/tutoring program for our neighboring High School, please see Deacon Delano Stovall.

The church calendar is now available in more detail on the church's website. All members are encouraged to utilize the website for more information about church activities. See the Church Calendar.

Van Service is Available
Members interested in this service should call and leave their requests on the church’s answering machine no later than 8:00am on the date requested. Please press 10 and leave your name, address and phone number. The van is handicap accessible.

Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous
If you or your loved is battling an addiction, there is help. Narcotics Anonymous [NA] and Alcoholics Anonymous [AA] meet at Metropolitan on Sundays, 3:00pm to 5:00pm. NA meets in the Sallie Sadler Room and AA meets in the Cook Room. Tell a friend or loved one about these important ministries.

MBC Community Food Pantry
The MBC Community Food Pantry is open the third Saturday of each month, except for August. Please support this important ministry through envelope giving and by volunteering your time and talents.

MBC Prayer List
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” [Gal 6:2, KJV]
The prayer list includes all Metropolitan’s members who are sick or shut-in and also those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Please help us to keep the list current by contacting the church office immediately.
